This section contains a bit of information relevant to the history and purpose of kurenaicons as well as some of our rules, gifts, awards and our past layouts. It’s not a lot of reading because we only like to write (and read) fun things. But, some things are invaluable for us, the creators, and you, the visitor. If you get anything from this page about why we’re here, then it was well worth it’s weight in gold to write it. Enjoy and thanks for visiting.

Brief Synopsis

Kurenaicons comes from two words; kurenai, which is crimson in Japanese and icons, a type of web graphic. We put the two together, both words sharing the ‘i’ and there you have it. An excellent domain name that has served us well over the years. For our domain’s namesake, we usually have some type of crimson in our layouts, sometimes just in the header. The majority of our graphics are icons. At the time I’m writing this we have two hundred and seventy-seven icons, not counting our lost content that might have put us well over four hundred in total.

We’re very pleased to have you here. We offer tutorials and do requests for graphics as long as rules are followed. But for any reason you may find to like us, we’re happy to be of service to you.
