Roleplaying Manners
From Kurenai Shi Wiki
1; Don't start playing with your character until after it's been approved; the RPG admin will take away your ability to post with that character.
2; After your application (wiki page) has been approved, don't edit anything major without permission. That means, PM or IM the RPG admin and ask her - nicely or you'll get bitched at - for permission. Otherwise the character will be banned and you application will be deleted.
3; Don't change/add your character's pictures without permission. That's right, get permission from the RPG admin. She'll tell you whether she thinks the picture(s) you've found are suitable for the character. And while we're talking about pictures, please make sure your character's picture and the new one you'll be adding look SOMEWHAT similar. God, that's annoying. Pick someone who has a lot of pictures to use or just don't make the character at all if you don't wanna have to go through the trouble.
4; All threads must be labeled as [Group] or [Private] or [Ask]; Group Threads (open) are always open to anybody and everybody because they're general, just for fun threads; Private Threads (closed) usually involve two people, three at most, because they are just that, private - they may take place inside someone's house or at a hotel room, etc., so don't touch/make them if you're not asked to be involved in one/haven't asked somebody to have one with you; Ask Threads (reserved) can be either group or private, depending on what the RPers of the thread have decided - they are usually threads made for plot purposes but they're not completely blocked off for everyone else like Private Threads - don't just randomly join one without getting permission first, though, 'cause if you ruin something someone else had in mind, chances are, you're gonna get it. Event threads will be labeled with graphics now as well. You'll see when we have another event thread. With that said, if you don't want people to butt in, then make it clear. If you want more than just two people, make it clear. No bitching or your voice will be banned for a day for not speaking up, 'cause nobody else cares about your drama.
5; Lock your threads when you're done. It's just polite and saves people the trouble of reading the whole thing to see if you're done.
6; Respect the staff and your fellow roleplayers. Ha ha! Fat chance huh? Fighting with, bitching at, or giving the admins/mods a load of steaming crap will get disliked or even banned (there's a few levels of ban punishment). I don't care what you think or say, they're usually right and you're usually wrong. Read the rules, be polite and drop the drama. Just play. If you're just up the creek then, you'll be permanently banned.
7; If a character does something liked or disliked, they will receive positive or negative karma. Karma is there for a reason. Some roleplayers feel better knowing that their character or posts were good or bad. So let them feel the love or hate you think they deserve (no ban - it's just nice to have feedback).
8; Never double post in an RP thread under any circumstance!
And that's it. Be kind and reread if necessary.
